Berkshire Hathaway has nearly doubled its stake in homebuilder Lennar since the end of June, according to regulatory filings. The conglomerate increased its holdings from about 13.4 million Class A and Class B shares at the end of June to 21.5 million on September 17, giving it more than 10% of the company. The move comes after Warren Buffett departed as CEO at the turn of the year and stepped down as chairman on September 18. Lennar stock has more than halved over the past two years.
