Electricity supply has been disrupted in Arepo, Obafemi/Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, following a fault traced to a shattered insulator at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) end of the network. Residents of the community are awaiting the completion of repairs by TCN before Ikeja Electric can restore supply. The Secretary of the Arepo Area Community Development Council Electricity Committee, Akinlolu Akinpelumi, disclosed this in a statement on Monday. He said repair work was already in progress and expressed hope that engineers would resolve the fault promptly.
