The 40-year-old told The Observer, as reported by Reuters, that the attention he has received since his country's historic World Cup campaign has dramatically changed his everyday life. He said he has lost his peace and tranquillity and no longer has any privacy, noting that people frequently ask him for photos or autographs. Vozinha became a global name during Cape Verde's first appearance at the World Cup, helping the side keep clean sheets against eventual champions Spain and Saudi Arabia before they were defeated 3-2 by Argentina in the knockout stage.
