Dr Ivara Esege and his wife, Chimamanda Adichie, have asked the Lagos State High Court to dismiss a suit by Eurapharma Care Services Nigeria Limited seeking to halt the coroner's inquest into their son's death. Through their counsel, Kemi Pinheiro, SAN, they argued that the hospital's application is premature as the coroner has not made any decision. The case is before Justice A.O. Opesanwo.
