The family of Mr Unity Ekwevugbe Adeda, a Deputy Director in the Delta State Ministry of Secondary Education, has rejected the administrative panel set up by the state government to investigate his death. The family cited loss of confidence in the panel and will pursue legal action. Senator Ede Dafinone called for a thorough investigation, while the Nigeria Labour Congress clarified that workers did not embark on a formal strike but temporarily withdrew services.
