Workers in Ondo State-owned tertiary institutions will resume duty on Tuesday, September 29, after the Joint Action Committee of Ondo State-owned Tertiary Institutions (JAC-ODSTI) suspended its indefinite strike. The strike was suspended following a financial intervention by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. The unions had commenced the industrial action on September 2 over unresolved issues related to the implementation of agreements between the Federal Government and the unions. The strike affected Adekunle Ajasin University, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, and the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo.
