The Yobe State Government, through the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE), is targeting the construction of 50 new secondary schools and rehabilitation of 225 existing ones to improve girls' access to quality education. The project coordinator, Malam Abdullahi Dahiru Bulah, disclosed this at the inception and onboarding of local government facilitators and mobilisers. The project aims to provide more opportunities for girls to complete secondary school and equip them with skills for economic independence.
