Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to reinstate petroleum subsidy after tackling corruption. He made the promise at a town hall meeting for the Obi/Kwankwaso presidential ticket in Sokoto on Monday. Obi said corruption is Nigeria's major challenge and that his administration would combat it across all sectors. He urged Nigerians to use the 2027 general elections to vote for NDC candidates at all levels, calling it a collective responsibility to address the country's problems.
