The Academic Staff Union of Universities at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, has rejected the agreement between the Ondo State Government and ASUU at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko. ASUU-UNIMEDO chairman Abraham Oladebeye stated that the chapter was not invited to the negotiation meeting and that the agreement does not address its congress resolutions. He also said the union returned a letter from Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Igbekele Ajibefun because its contents did not meet the union's terms. The union insists its members remain on strike.
