Servicers began notifying borrowers on July 1 of their 90-day window to switch to a new repayment plan, with September 29 marking the first deadline. Some borrowers have encountered technical issues when submitting applications for a new plan. Those who do not select a new plan before their deadline will be placed on a standard repayment plan.
