The Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA) has demanded stronger rabies control legislation in Kogi State. Omotugba said the state can no longer rely on outdated and weak laws to tackle rabies, a disease that is 99.9 per cent fatal once symptoms appear but 100 per cent preventable.
