The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 20-year-old driver for allegedly knocking down and dragging a police officer, resulting in the officer's death. Commissioner of Police Fatai Tijani disclosed that the incident occurred on August 26 during a stop-and-search operation. The driver initially stopped but suddenly drove off, knocking down the officer, who sustained multiple fractures and later died. Other officers pursued and arrested the driver.
