Seyi Makinde, presidential candidate of the Allied People Movement and governor of Oyo State, promised to reset Nigeria within four years if elected president in 2027. He made the promise on Monday in Lafia, Nasarawa State, during the North Central Town Hall meeting of his campaign. Makinde said the reset agenda would cover security, education, the economy and the socio-political environment, and could be achieved in one term. He added that as president he would run a transitional government of national unity.
