The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Kebbi State has commended Governor Nasir Idris for approving consequential salary adjustments and responsibility allowances for primary school teachers. The state NLC chairman, Comrade Murtala Usman, described the governor's decision as a significant development for primary school teachers. Usman said the approval of responsibility allowances was unprecedented in Kebbi State and the northern region. He noted that the move demonstrates the governor's commitment to improving teachers' welfare and strengthening primary education.
