Airline operators threaten nationwide flight shutdown over unlawful interference

The Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) has strongly warned against what it described as the use of industrial action to disrupt airline operations, declaring that Nigerian airlines could collectively shut down their operations nationwide if a repeat of the August 11 disruption occurs. The position was contained in a communique issued after the AON General Meeting. The operators expressed concern over unlawful interference in airline operations. They threatened a nationwide flight shutdown if such disruptions continue.
