President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended the opening of the fifth edition of the Egypt Mining Forum 2026 on Monday, 28 September 2026. He was received by Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Karim Badawi. The event included a commemorative photo with participants, an inspection of exhibits from the Geological Museum, and a documentary film. Minister Badawi and the CEO of a major company delivered addresses during the opening proceedings.
