President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has called for increased Japanese investment and road equipment during a meeting with a Japanese delegation led by Ambassador Takahashi Misako at State House, Entebbe. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in infrastructure, energy, investment, education, health, and youth development. Museveni commended Japan for supporting projects like the Kampala Flyover and Karuma Bridge. He proposed that each local government should have its own road construction equipment to avoid shared usage.
