Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has sacked Rashida Adamu, also known as Rashida Mai Sa’a, from her position as Special Assistant. The decision followed allegations that she made statements capable of inciting supporters, engaged in activities aimed at undermining the All Progressives Congress (APC), and made disparaging remarks against Senator Barau. This comes after the senator had previously relieved another aide, Umar Alhassan, of his appointment over a controversial social media post targeting Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
