A new digital news platform, NaijaGoodNews.com, will officially launch on October 1 with a mission to spotlight positive developments and inspiring stories from across Nigeria. The multimedia platform, comprising a news website and social media channels, is published by Shiny-Star Communications Ltd. It is led by Sunday Oguntola, a journalist with over two decades of experience, including 20 years at The Nation newspaper where he served as Online Editor for seven years. Oguntola has participated in international journalism training programmes and fellowships, including a Reuters Institute workshop.
