A 13-year-old pupil allegedly stabbed a teacher to death and seriously injured two others at an elementary school in Staškov, northwestern Slovakia, on Tuesday. The suspect was taken into custody and authorities said there was no further threat. The deceased was a 61-year-old female teacher, while a pupil is in critical condition and a 41-year-old female teacher was seriously injured. President Peter Pellegrini expressed condolences and described the incident as a serious warning to society.
