The Senate reconvened on Tuesday and adjourned for another two weeks after extending the implementation of the capital component of the 2025 budget till December 31, 2026. This marks the fourth extension of the 2025 capital budget. The lawmakers had proceeded on annual recess on July 23 and reconvened only to adjourn to October 13.
