The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has called on the World Bank and other international lenders to withhold fresh loans to the administration of President Bola Tinubu, citing concerns that further borrowing would mortgage the future of Nigerians. The party's National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Yusuf, criticized the proposed $1.5 billion World Bank credit, questioning the administration's ability to service its growing debt amid economic hardship. The APM also faulted continued borrowing despite increased revenues following the removal of petrol subsidy.
