Senate President Godswill Akpabio has warned political actors against using artificial intelligence to spread falsehoods and deepen divisions ahead of the 2027 general elections. In his welcome address as the Senate resumed plenary after its annual recess, Akpabio stressed that political differences should not destroy national bonds and that no victory is worth a Nigerian life. He urged those seeking office to present their programs with conviction and allow Nigerians to make their choices freely.
