The Federal Government has announced plans to leverage Nigeria's hosting of the Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) Weekend 2026 to accelerate global expansion of the creative industry, attract foreign investment, and generate export revenue and jobs. Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Dr. Jumoke Oduwole said the government is prioritizing financing, intellectual property commercialization, and market access for creative businesses. The event is scheduled for November 5-8 in Lagos.
