The Federal Capital Territory Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 3,000 personnel across the territory to ensure law and order during Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary. The deployment was ordered by FCT Commandant Dr Olusola Odumosu to secure lives, property, and critical national assets. The personnel are drawn from specialised units including the Arms Squad, Female Strike Force, and Counter-Terrorism Unit.
