The Premier League has confirmed that an independent Commission found Manchester City guilty of serious breaches of its financial rules. The club has until Friday, October 2, to appeal the findings. The Commission found City guilty of all charges relating to financial breaches over the nine-season period from 2009/10 to 2017/18, and of the majority of charges relating to failure to cooperate with the investigation. The Premier League stated that City arranged 'sham' contracts with commercial partners to artificially inflate revenues and reduce costs by more than £90 million.
