OpenAI announced a new subscription tier for ChatGPT at its Tuesday DevDay event. The Pro 500 plan will cost $500 a month, a $300 increase over the company's previous most expensive plan. The plan includes access to "Ultrafast" computing for GPT-6 Astra in ChatGPT Work and Codex, promising an 8x speed increase in Codex. It also offers OpenAI's highest included usage, while the company downgraded the compute allowance of its $200 a month plan.
