The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Oyo State has denied allegations that State Commandant Augustine Padonu forced personnel to contribute money for his birthday and church harvest. In a statement issued on Tuesday by Public Relations Officer SC Samuel Olubanjo Opebiyi, the Command described the allegations as false. The NSCDC urged the public to disregard the claims, which it said were aimed at tarnishing the image of the Commandant.
