Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, a gubernatorial aspirant in Gombe State's PDP primary, has declared himself the winner after a rerun election on Tuesday. The party's committee had declared Isa Ali Pantami as the winner. Mailantarki argued that based on a Supreme Court judgment, Pantami was ineligible to participate, and therefore he should be considered the winner. He vowed to file a fresh lawsuit against Pantami.
