President Bola Tinubu returned to Nigeria after spending about four weeks outside the country on a working vacation. He departed Nigeria on August 30 for a three-week vacation in Europe but extended his stay by a few days, which triggered a constitutional debate and concerns about his health. Upon arrival in Lagos from Paris, Tinubu declared that he was of sound health and ready to work. He is scheduled to attend the premiere of a film in honour of MKO Abiola in Lagos on October 1 and hold strategic meetings with political leaders and associates ahead of 2027 before returning to Abuja.
