The naira showed relative stability against the US dollar in both official and parallel markets as trading began mid-week. At the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the exchange rate was around ₦1,324 to ₦1,330 per dollar, with steady liquidity supervised by the Central Bank of Nigeria. In the parallel market, the dollar traded at approximately ₦1,375 for buying and ₦1,385 for selling through Bureau De Change operators. Analysts noted that the narrowed spread between the official and parallel markets indicates improved alignment of foreign exchange liquidity.
