The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited reported a profit after tax of N7.2 trillion for the 2025 financial year, a 33 percent increase from N5.4 trillion in 2024. Revenue declined by 23.4 percent to N34.516 trillion from N45.075 trillion the previous year. The company remitted N22.3 trillion to the Federal Government, a 39 percent rise, and supplied 278.2 million barrels to domestic refineries. NNPC attributed the profit growth to improved operational efficiency and cost discipline, while noting that lower crude oil prices and reduced white product volumes affected revenue.
