The Federal Government has called on Nigerians aged 15 to 35 to register with the National Youth Data Bank. The Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, made the call in Abuja at the launch of the project, saying the exercise will identify young people's skills, needs and locations and connect them with opportunities in the public and private sectors. He said registration would cover youths in both the formal and informal sectors, including agriculture, sports and the creative and technology industries. According to the minister, the database will help answer critical questions about who young people are, where they are, what they can do and what opportunities they need.
