The Development Agenda for Western Nigeria Commission, the National Universities Commission, and other stakeholders will meet in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on October 15 for the fifth edition of the For the Love of the Country conference. The event, themed 'Building a Prosperous Future: Re-Engineering Education and Driving Industrialisation for Innovation, Productivity and Jobs', aims to explore ways to reform Nigeria's education system to drive industrialisation, innovation, productivity, and job creation. Policymakers, academics, business leaders, and development experts are expected to attend. The convener, Atinuke Odjenima, said the 2026 edition is designed to shift the national conversation.
