The African Energy Chamber has condemned a court order that threatens Dangote Industries' planned $15-16 billion refinery in Lamu, Kenya. The groundbreaking had been set for September 30. The AEC expressed support for Aliko Dangote and Dangote Industries, describing the project as strategically important for East Africa's fuel security and criticizing what it called frivolous litigation.
