The Ondo State Government has directed owners of abandoned heavy-duty vehicles, trucks, machinery and large watercraft across the state to remove them within seven days or risk forfeiture. The directive takes effect from Wednesday, September 30, to Wednesday, October 7, 2026. It was issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response. The government said the abandoned items pose risks that require urgent attention.
