Ghana and Luxembourg Discuss Potential Areas of Cooperation

On the sidelines of the 81st session of the UNGA, Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), held discussions with Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, and Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, Xavier Bettel. The talks focused on strengthening Ghana–Luxembourg relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries. The discussion highlighted opportunities for practical economic cooperation, particularly in value addition, digital technologies, agro-processing and industrial transformation, with emphasis on partnerships that create jobs, support local industries and promote sustainable economic development. The two Ministers also exchanged views on international and regional developments, democratic values, human rights, security and the importance of constructive dialogue among partners.
