Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has charged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections to take the party's message to every ward and polling unit across the state. He gave the charge on Wednesday while inaugurating the Edo APC Campaign Council, which he chairs, urging members to work as a team and engage directly with residents at the grassroots. He said the campaign should involve youths, women, traditional institutions, traders and other stakeholders, rather than being limited to party leaders and political office holders. Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, commended Okpebholo for his grassroots approach to governance.
