$2.1m alleged land deal: Court adjourns case against Wike’s son to Dec 1

An Abuja High Court in Maitama has adjourned the alleged $2.1 million land transaction case involving Jordan Nyesom-Wike, son of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, to December 1. During the resumed hearing, Justice Silvanus Oriji admitted the defendant's international passport into evidence. Jordan denied any involvement in the Abuja land deal, stating he was not in the country when the claimants allegedly handed him money to facilitate land allocation. The suit was filed by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited.
