Yes, you are waiting longer for Uber rides, a new study says

A new study by Len Sherman, an executive in residence at Columbia Business School, found that Uber wait times increased by 19% between the first quarter of 2023 and the same period in 2024. The analysis, based on data from Uber drivers, also showed that the price per mile rose by 53% on average over the same period. The increase occurred in five of six metro areas studied. Sherman described the trend as charging more for degraded service.
