The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) conducted an enforcement operation against illegal street trading around Tafawa Balewa Square and the Costain Under Bridge/National Theatre axis. The operation was carried out in collaboration with the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI). Traders who were obstructing pedestrian and vehicular movement were dislodged from road corridors and other unauthorised spaces. The agency has intensified its efforts to clear such obstructions.
