Ghana and the Philippines have agreed to deepen cooperation in trade and investment, including organizing business forums and establishing a chamber of commerce. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Ghana's Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Philippines Foreign Secretary Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro at the 81st UNGA. The Philippines also plans to open an embassy in Ghana later this year, and both sides will exchange expertise on labour mobility agreements.
