The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has stated that Nigeria is on the path to becoming a stronger and more prosperous nation as it marks its 66th Independence anniversary. In a message, he congratulated Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora and commended their resilience, unity, and faith. He acknowledged the sacrifices and patience of citizens in navigating national challenges. Yilwatda also noted that the administration of President Bola Tinubu inherited a difficult economic situation and has embarked on fundamental reforms to address longstanding structural challenges.
