The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has raised an alarm over the disappearance of Ms. Jennifer Chikamso Nwosu, who was previously arrested by the Rapid Response Squad in Awkuzu, Anambra State. Ms. Nwosu was arrested after her brother fled to avoid arrest on criminal charges. She alleged that she was granted bail for N600,000 and promised to return to the station later. The Anambra State Police Command denied admitting her to bail for that sum, but RULAAC insists it has written evidence of the payment. RULAAC now alleges that Ms. Nwosu has disappeared after speaking with its executive director.
