Ambassador El Hadji Ibrahima Diene, Special Representative of the African Union Commission Chairperson for Somalia and Head of the African Union Support and Stabilisation Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM), visited AUSSOM Sector 2 in Kismayo. He was accompanied by Force Commander Lt. Gen. Sam Kavuma, Police Commissioner ACP Dr. Samuel Asiedu Okanta, and other senior management team members. The visit aimed to assess mandate implementation, operational challenges, and the way forward, and included meetings with Kenya Defence Forces troops and the Sierra Leone Formed Police Unit.
