2027: Bwacha Unveils 251-Man Campaign Council, Fixes Oct 10 Flag-Off

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Taraba State, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha, has unveiled a 251-member campaign council, as the party begins its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 governorship election. The council, structured into 23 directorates with additional Door-to-Door zonal and local government coordination offices, is expected to coordinate the campaign's activities across the state ahead of the October 10 flag-off. Amb. Hassan Jika Ardo is appointed to serve as chairman of the council, while Engr. Augustine Bazing will serve as the alternate chairman. In a statement signed by the Director Publicity of the Campaign Council, Sulieman Ibrahim Ahmed, and made available to newsmen in Jalingo, also named Hon. Sule Abubakar Ndigmay as Director-General of the campaign council, with Dr Yakubu Agbidye as alternate Director-General. The council's directorates cover Strategy, Research and Planning, Women Engagement, among others.
