The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has called on the Federal Government to prioritize manufacturing as a key driver of job creation. LCCI President Leye Kupoluyi noted that while economic reforms have stabilized the macroeconomy, they must translate into lower production costs, higher investment, and more jobs. He emphasized that manufacturing can convert economic growth into mass employment and improved household incomes. Manufacturers and MSMEs continue to face challenges such as high electricity costs.
