The Nigeria Customs Service has repatriated a rescued baby gorilla to the Republic of Congo. According to the Deputy Comptroller of Customs and Customs National Public Relations Officer, the operation is the Service's first international full-cycle wildlife operation, covering interception, rescue, rehabilitation, and repatriation. The baby gorilla was rescued and subsequently returned to its home country.
