Author Ajadi has launched a book titled 'Afrilition', which challenges negative narratives about Africa. Ajadi said the idea for the book was partly influenced by his experience of what he described as 'Afro-pessimism', a tendency to view Africa mainly through its problems and crises. The launch was reported by Premium Times Nigeria. The book seeks to counter prevailing negative perceptions of the continent.
