The Ogun State Government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) have partnered to revive the Olokola Liquefied Natural Gas (OKLNG) project. Governor Dapo Abiodun stated that discussions with NNPC focused on land acquisition, incentives, and other requirements to facilitate the project's take-off. The state government has committed to providing necessary cooperation and guarantees for the project, which is expected to precede a $7 billion port and marine economy project.
